Crisis Helplines

**If you or someone you know is in imminent danger, call 911 or go to the local emergency room immediately**

The Suicide Prevention Lifeline - Call 1-800-273-8255 or online chat via the website with trained crisis counselors 24/7.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - Call      1-888-333-2377. Provides resources on loss and suicide prevention information, and referrals to support groups and mental health professionals. 

The National Domestic Violence Hotline - Call 1-800-799-7233. Provides 24/7 crisis intervention, safety planning and information on domestic violence.

National Alliance on Mental Health - Call 1-800-950-6264  M-F, 10am- 6pm (ET) or text "NAMI" to 741741.

National Sexual Assault Hotline - Call 800-656-HOPE (4673) to talk to a trained staff member and get referrals for longer-term recovery options.

National Alliance on Mental Illness - One of the largest nonprofit organizations providing support and resources for mental health awareness.

Active Minds - National nonprofit organization aimed at supporting mental health awareness and education for students.
